Aesthetic vein issues are among the most visible signs of aging. Whether it’s a single vein that becomes knotted and discolored, or multiple veins that develop into spidery streaks of red, blue or purple, an inflamed vein has a huge impact on your appearance.
There are two common types of vein issues that may affect a patient’s appearance:
Vein disorders such as varicose and spider veins become more prevalent with age and can have a variety of possible causes, ranging from environmental damage from the sun or extreme weather to congenital predispositions.
Whatever the cause, these vein disorders are treatable. Inflamed or dilated veins can be removed altogether through the use of laser treatment.*
Precision Targeting to Eliminate Unsightly Veins
At Brea Wellness Center, our staff targets and eliminates unsightly veins through the use of an Intense Pulse Light laser, more commonly referred to as an IPL laser. This incredibly effective and adaptable small-tipped handpiece allows our technicians to attack the inflamed vein walls with laser light ranging from the 500 nm to 650 nm spectrum. This focused light helps to break down the vein walls, killing the unsightly vein without damaging the surrounding skin.*
Once the vein has been destroyed the body naturally removes the dead tissue, rerouting blood through new veins and replacing the old tissue with brand new skin.
